Meet Our Children...

We have 2 baby girls that we absolutely adore.

Meet Paisley!  P was our first born.  She is the sweetest thing you'll ever meet.  You may not recognize her in more recent pictures because she is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.  They change from brown/tan to tan/white as they mature.  This baby girl has cost us WAY more money than we bargained for.  She has the most medical problems of any dog I know.  Surgeries, steroid shots every 6 weeks, tumors, you name it - she has or had it.  But we love our special girl dearly and she is worth every penny.

This is our feisty Sadie bug.  Sadie is a Cocker Spaniel and very much a mommas girl.  She is the baby of the family and lives up to that role.  She is SPOILED ROTTEN and very high maintenance much like her momma who was the baby of the family as well.  She hates being in the heat outside and doesn't let us or the neighbors forget it.  We love our little bug so much!

Our precious babies are so special to us they were even featured on our save the dates for our wedding!!

Don't let these pathetic faces fool you...they only go outside to go to the bathroom.  They are very much inside dogs and will never let you forget that.

My nephew Preston loves his cousins!

Now to the final part of our home tour....this is where our dogs "play"

Can't wait for winter to be able to use our hot tub!

We have a little TCU spirit everywhere

The previous owner of the house left us a very nice landscaped yard!

Hope y'all have enjoyed the home tour!  It's going to be pretty hard thinking of what my next blog post will be about but I'm sure I'll come up with something, come back and visit!

Where Our Guests Stay

Sorry friends, my least visited rooms in the house are the guest rooms thus causing me to put them on the back burner.  I basically used left over stuff from college and scrambled them together to create 2 guest bedrooms.  The first room you'll see is basically my room throughout college.  Bedroom set, comforter, decorations and all.  The second room pictured has a few things from my college living room but I did have to buy a new comforter, so no surprise, I went with white.  You'll learn I love neutral, clean colors.  One thing our guest rooms do have going for them is the beds are SUPER comfortable, Austin and Ainsley can vouch for us on that, they are our most frequent visitors, and we LOVE having them:)  Chase and I love having visitors, so whenever you need a place to stay, let us know!

This is the hallway to our guest bedrooms and guest bathroom!

another pinterest find...always wanted to make those terrible thermostats more appealing!

Guest Room 1

I LOVE this furniture set...it's going to be perfect for a little girl someday.  Hopefully we won't have a house full of boys...

Surprised to see monograms?  You shouldn't be..

Guest Room 2

Guest Bath

I'm obsessed with the faucets we decided on for both bathrooms

My final post of our home tour will feature our 2 dogs children (Paisley and Sadie, our sweet baby girls) and where they play!

Where We Dream

I love to decorate, I am no interior designer, but I do fantasize what I could do with a big nice house and a lot of money.  Maybe some day...  This is our master bedroom.  I went with the grey theme throughout the entire house because it's my new obsession.  I tried to keep it tranquil and our little oasis.  I love it and it turned out perfect for both of us.

Chase was not happy about the chandelier.  And I must say some nights I wonder what I was thinking taking the ceiling fan down but then I look back and remind myself how much I love a chandelier in a bedroom...

To do:  monogram lamp shades

My 3 best friends wrote me the sweetest toast for our rehearsal dinner and framed it for me.  It reminds me daily how blessed I am with such great people in my life.

These he/she signs were displayed at our wedding.  I love having little reminders of our wedding day throughout our house

If you haven't noticed yet, I'm obsessed with monograms...

Our little bathroom doors are too cute

A his and her sink was necessary in the master bath

The shell is from our honeymoon and the nurse is a constant reminder of what I do for a living and how much I love it.  I cried when I got this gift for graduation (cheesy)

One of my pinterest projects - my jewelry holder

We got lucky with his/her closets in an older home as well..

Tomorrow we will venture into where our guests stay...

Where We Dine...

Chase and I don't dine in often but when we do, we always sit at the table.  I told Chase our children would be raised eating around the dining room table instead of on a couch around a TV.  I want my children to be southern gentlemen or ladies.  I love this area because when I do actually cook, you can still stay involved and see all the way to the living room.  It's perfect for entertaining.  A lot of our furniture in the dining room is from Beautiful Things, a fabulous sale that Yvette Alverson puts on ever so often.  She fixes up old furniture and makes them like new.  You can check her out on facebook http://www.facebook.com/beautifulthingsfurniture or her blog http://beautifulthingsfurniture.blogspot.com/  She will also repaint furniture if you'd like a new look to a piece you feel like changing.  Enjoy the tour!!

The table and buffet piece is from Yvette's Sale - Beautiful Things

My nursing license is very special to me and had to be displayed in a cute way

Our china cabinet was originally brown wood and Yvette repainted it for us, I LOVE how it turned out, it fits the style of our house perfectly

I redid these stools myself - I was quite pleased with my success

Chase is kind enough to let me have my pink corner - I'm obsessed

I love this cutting board that is made out of our wedding invitation!

I really don't like refrigerators covered in magnets and such but where else are you supposed to put them?

This new light fixture was my favorite part of our kitchen update

Everyone needs a full cookie jar and monogrammed napkins to make a house a home!

Tomorrow I'll post about where we sleep...can't wait!
